This upcoming fortnight...

The next fortnight (starting Sunday at midnight) I'll be living my life like a bat... or should I say night-brawler? lol The Australian Open is about to begin and they are 12 hours ahead of us so the matches will be played all our night long. So, sleeping during the day and watching some tennis AND studying for the exams during the night. It's always the same sh*t every year. When the first Grand Slam of the year begins, my exams begin too. BAHHHHH


My favourites to win? Ana Ivanovic at the Australian Open and ME at the exams! LOOOL

Trailer - Volver

In Volver, Pedro Almodóvar tells a ghost story and manages to include lust, incest, rape and murder. Volver could have gone on for another hour or two: there seemed so much more to say. What a triumph for this great European director who just seems to get better and better.

And Penélope Cruz? Well she is a force of nature fully deserving her Oscar buzz. You do not want to miss this. One of my favourite movies ever.

It feels like yesterday! xD


Who would have thought that she would go through so much in 10 years. Well, now thinking about all she has gone through it feels like a long time ago. loool
I was 13 when her debut album ... Baby One More Time came out. Since I saw her in that (now classic) schoolgirl outfit I knew she was going to be huge.
Her debut album sold more than 25 million copies worldwide, and it's the best selling debut album ever by a female artist as well as the best selling album ever by a teenage artist. Congrats Brit!
This led her into international stardom and she quickly became a pop phenomenon. No other female artist had made such an impact in pop music since Madonna like Britney had. You can hate her, you can say she can't sing or she dresses like a slut, but the point is there's no one out there making pop music as this girl does. When it comes to deliver great pop songs, Britney's in a league of her own.

I'm going to stop rumbling now. A true fan stays with his/her idol no matter what. I am and I stayed and now I got rewarded. After 10 years, she is pop's reigning queen, having sold more than 85 million copies worldwide.
